things to do on vacation in your old college town
Things to do on vacation in your old college town:
- sleep in
- eat vegetarian sushi twice in one week (can you say, "Buddha Belly Roll"?!)
- bat 1000 with your restaurant recommendations
- feel all European yuppie as you sit at the plaza-side cafe and read your Kindle
- take your boyfriend to an herb shop for the express purpose of providing him with the experience of smelling patchouli (ew)
- walk everywhere
- make out
- drink coffee, lots of coffee
- point out all your old houses, especially the big yellow one on the corner that was your first house out of the dorms
- see some epic views on a bike ride or two
- drink a whole bottle of local wine over handmade pasta and have a mushy conversation
- walk in the redwoods
- babble about some something that happened in college
- use the words "formative years" on numerous occasions
- take your time in the used book store
- walk down paths you probably walked hundreds of times, but haven't thought of in a decade
- ask enough questions to figure out this whole Buster Posey thing
- end the week feeling like you had really great time
